1WHY are RTR products limited to just 2 downloads per purchase?
  1. RTR provides the User a first download, with a backup second download in the event the User has not saved the RTR product on their FIRST download to their preferred directory or digital device.
2HOW do I find my PASSWORDS to open my RTR purchases?

    Password Information to open all RTR purchases are provided in:

  1. The email you receive from RTR with your product download links.
  2. Within Your Account.
3THE RTR products I purchased will NOT OPEN; what can I do?
  1. All RTR products are in a PDF format that will require the User to have a current PDF Reader and Microsoft Office PowerPoint to open the displays/products.
  2. To start be sure you have a current Operating System such as Windows 8 or 10.
  3. Some PDF Readers are FREE, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. This can be downloaded from https://get.adobe.com/reader/
  4. If this does not help, then install a different web browser. First check what web browser you are now using, and maybe change to Google Chrome, or Firefox
  5. Our PPT Presentations are protected against editing.
    If you have clicked on "Enable Editing", select "Read Only" to open the PPT.
4WHAT do I do IF I cannot access the RTR website?
You may need to clear your stored browsing history to access the RTR website.
5HOW do I complete my purchase of RTR products?
  1. When you have selected a RTR product, and in the font of your choice, then add it to your Shopping Cart using the ‘ADD to Cart’ button.
  2. A ‘pop-up’ window will appear from which the User can select to:
    1. Continue Shopping.
    2. View Cart.
    3. Proceed to Checkout.
  3. Once the Proceed to Checkout selection has been made, a window will open with your Account Details. At this time, you must indicate having read the RTR Terms and Conditions, and only then do you ‘Proceed to Checkout’.
  4. The User will then be directed to the PayFast page to make payment.
6DOES RTR use my personal Account Details?
  1. RTR does NOT share, sell, use, or provide to Third Party, any Users personal account details.
  2. Neither RTR nor PayFast retain or store a User’s personal or purchase account details.
  3. For this reason, PayFast requires the User to login with their details for each separate purchase.
  4. RTR may use an overall aggregate of information provided and statistics of purchases for monitoring the variety and Users preferences of website usage.
  5. This type of information will help develop and improve RTR’s educational materials for the Educator and our services to all Users. The results of any gathered statistics relating to purchases will NOT identify specific Users.
7WHAT is the level of security provided RTR by PayFast for my Account?
PayFast uses several security formats to secure all involve parties.
  1. PayFast is PCI-DSSD Level 1 Compliant, the highest level of internet security for the safety of the User.
  2. Penetration/hacking testing is run by PayFast, and is conducted on a weekly basis to look for vulnerabilities.
  3. The PayFast system is set to automatically check for suspicious payment activity and volume.

8WHAT is the security provided RTR by the Website Server?
  1. RTR is supported by MMPOnline.

9HOW can I find a specific display quickly?
Start with the RTR HOME PAGE:
  1. Use the SEARCH option button at the top of the page.
  2. Type in the specific words associated with your subject in your language:
    1. English, e.g. Grade R Color.
    2. Afrikaans, e.g. Graad R Kleur.
  3. A drop down menu will then provide all your options to proceed.
10Does is take a lot of ink to print RTR Displays?
  1. All RTR Classroom Displays have been developed to maximize impact when printed, but at the same time to use the least amount of ink as possible.
  2. You can also choose an ink saving print setting on your printer to help with ink consumption.
11Does is take a lot of data to download RTR Displays?
  1. All RTR Classroom Displays have been developed to use as many ‘vector format’ files where ever possible. This reduces the download size of the Displays.
  2. When ‘rasterized’ images are included, the images are downscaled to 200dpi, which works well for both print and on screen Displays. The Displays usually average between 5 and 10 mb per file.
12Does is take a lot of data to download RTR PowerPoint Presentations??
  1. All RTR PPT Presentations have been compressed to reduce their megabytes (mb) size as much as possible.

The purpose of the RTR website is to provide
Teaching Resources to registered users.
RTR develops and supplies Classroom Display Materials
for classrooms in order to ‘Make a difference in the classroom’.
RTR uses the current South African ‘CAPS’ and ‘ISASA’ curricula
as the basis for their product development.

Upon registration and use of the www.rainbowteachingresources.co.za website,
the User agrees to comply with Rainbow Teaching Resources (Pty) Ltd (RTR)
Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.

  1. All RTR products are limited to TWO (2) downloads per purchase. It is the Users responsibility to retain/save the purchase to their preferred directory, or device, on their FIRST download of each PDF product purchased.
  1. Each RTR purchase is provided with a UNIQUE PASSWORDRTR advises the User retain/save each unique password for continued access to their PDF purchase in the future.
  1. Materials and information downloaded from the RTR website are subject to Copyright terms. The User, nor any third person, may  NOT modify, copy, reproduce, publish, sell, upload, post, transmit or distribute by any means or in any
    manner, any material or information downloaded from the RTR website without previous specific written authorization from RTR.
  1. RTR develops and makes available, classroom display materials to be used in schools which are based on the CAPS and ISASA system, but that may be relevant in multiple applications and educational environments.
  1. By creating a RTR profile, and by downloading website content, the User acknowledges that they have read and accept the Terms and Conditions set out.
  1. The User specifically agrees that items downloaded from RTR remain the property of RTR. The fee paid for a download, gives the User access to content and information.

       Ownership of the RTR intellectual property does NOT transfer to the User.
Therefore, the products downloaded by the User is for their personal use,
and may NOT be transferred / given / sold to a third party.

  1. The RTR website contains material which is owned by or licensed to RTR. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the strict Copyright Terms, which form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  1. The User agrees to use the products purchased and downloaded from RTR for non-Commercial purposes. The User specifically agrees to NOT present themselves as the Representative, or Owner/Agent of RTR products.
  1. The RTR website, its content and product sold is protected under Copyright and other intellectual property rights. RTR has sole ownership of the information provided on the website.
  1. Downloaded content from RTR is for use by the intended registered recipient only. The User confirms that RTR may have legal recourse against them, should they not comply with this requirement. RTR may claim costs, losses and
    potential loss of its’ intellectual property not limited to the product from the User.
  1. In the event that the website and/or its content is misused, the User agrees that RTR has full recourse as available under law.
  1. RTR will stipulate printing requirements when displays are downloaded, but RTR does not guarantee the technical, functionality and reliability of equipment/software used by the User.
  1. RTR utilizes the Internet as the medium to supply their product. RTR does not guarantee the functionality or speed of the Internet, or of the service provider.
  1. RTR makes every effort to ensure the products supplied are accurate and up to date at time of publication. The use of the website is at the User’s own risk. RTR has taken all efforts to provide an accurate educational product in an innovative format for the User.  RTR does not take responsibility for errors, omissions or inaccurate information available for download and purchase from the website. The User warrants that by the download and purchase of the RTR product, that they have verified it is fit for the purpose intended.
  1. RTR will take all appropriate measures to ensure the personal information and privacy of its Users. The User must take reasonable measures to protect their login and security information, and RTR is indemnified from any loss, costs or reputational losses that the User may incur.
  1. RTR utilizes the services of PayFast’ for processing a User’s payment. PayFast and RTR have no stored access to any payment information provided by the User.

NOTE: To protect the Users payment details and privacy,
PayFast requires the User to login with their details for each separate purchase.

NOTE: No User payment details are retained by PayFast or RTR.
PayFast is a reputable payment processing company, taking the appropriate
measures to ensure the User’s information and processing of payments.

  1. RTR Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time. Therefore, the User specifically agrees that it is their responsibility to ensure they are current and in compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
  1. RTR retains the right to amend, adjust and/or remove content from the website temporarily or permanently without notice.
  1. The Terms of supply, pricing and product availability of online materials may be changed by RTR without notice.
  1. The User agrees that RTR has the right to limit the number of downloads or expiry of content available to the User. The User undertakes to ensure and uphold these Terms and Conditions as set by RTR.
  1. The nature of the products and services offered by the RTR website prohibits any form of refund to the User.
  1. RTR has the right to cancel any order placed. In this event, RTR shall undertake to credit the User if they have already made payment.
  1. RTR has the right to terminate a User’s profile at RTR’s sole discretion, without any liability to the User, or any third party.
  1. RTR will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, delay in performance of, any other obligation as a result of events ‘force majeure’, which includes events outside of RTR’s control. These events include, but are not limited to changes to education policies, legislation, viruses and cyber-attacks, power failures, servers or premises.
  1. The User warrants that the products purchased and downloaded from RTR are suitable for their purposes. RTR provides the User a preview of the content of each product. Therefore, RTR takes no responsibility for personal preferences related to the content of its products once the User has purchased and downloaded the products.
  1. RTR may utilize website links as part of their product offering, and have made every effort to make these appropriate, and relative, to the materials provided. However, RTR has no responsibility for the content of the linked websites and to the User’s personal preferences.
  1. The User specifically agrees to indemnify, defend and hold RTR and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all liability, losses, costs, claims and expenses incurred directly or indirectly (including reasonable legal fees) incurred in connection with or arising from these Terms and Conditions.
  2. RTR recommends that the User periodically downloads and prints these Terms and Conditions for future reference
